Rapid Manufacturing and Phototyping
We are able to cater to projects where minimal time between the design stage and the delivery of a finished component are of primary importance. Our extensive facilities for on-site manufacturing, and our highly experienced team of staff who employ a flexible working approach, mean we can work with our customers to in order to deal with urgent delivery needs.
Rapid Tooling and Injection Moulding
We specialise in Rapid Tooling, this allows us to rapidly produce prototype or low-volume production tooling for injection moulding purposes. We have a range of Manumold moulders and a 170T Moulding Machine. Such assets allow us to produce plastic components that have real properties and can be used for testing or even small production runs. We can depending upon complexity mould parts in the same day as the go ahead. Tooling is predominately Aluminium, which can be machined quickly. Side cored features can be operated by hand allowing for competitive prices.
Rapid Prototyping
Our rapid manufacturing capabilities stem from our ability to work in direct digital manufacturing with our FDM Rapid Prototyping facility. Our FDM plant is able to produce ABS components ideal for the prototype instances of a product, or key production needs. We employ a modern Dimension Printing unit with a 254 x 254 x 305 mm working volume, using durable ABS thermoplastic to produce high precision and robust parts.
CNC Machining
Our in house CNC machining plant enables us to supply fast turn around Components in many different materials. Commonly used materials are Acetal, ABS, Glass filled Nylon, Nylon, PP, Aluminium and Steel etc. We have Air turbine heads that allow us to run cutters as small as 0.8mm Diameter, to machine intricate shapes. All programming is done offline by our CAM Programming.
CAM Programming
Our CNC machining plant is programmed by Pro-E Wildfire™ Production Machinist toolpath programming, allowing rapid translation of part models to finished components, with our in-house 3 axis CNC facilities. With our dedicated CAM workstation and manufacturing staff, we are able to have parts machined direct from CAD data, and with integrated data formats, our ability to work concurrently means the design changes and revisions that form part of the prototyping cycle can be carried out in very short timescales.
Prototyping
We operate out of a 6000 sq ft facility which is able to accommodate prototype builds for customer projects. Prototyping to a range of levels, from proof-of-concept, to production ready final products can be accommodated, and from our current and previous works, we have proven capabilities for both the high-volume and low-volume production sectors.
