Development and Testing

Our engineers are experienced in the development of bespoke test methods and programs of product assessment, which twinned with our Development services, means our solutions are delivered with assured quality in minimal time.
Development
Our team of designers and engineers have a wealth of expertise to take products from a blank sheet of paper through to management of tooling, batch build, testing and launch. We adapt to match the needs of our customers and all elements of our turnkey capability are accessible to the customer as stand alone services. We encourage a close working relationship and interaction at the heart of projects, involving clients in key decisions, keeping them abreast of progress and seeking input throughout. Our reputation has been built on our ability to respond quickly and dependably, totally focused on the needs of our customers. Projects are carried out under the framework of a robust product development process which is certified to ISO9001:2008 standards. This process combines speed with flexibility, allowing us to carry out development programmes that meet a variety of client needs.
Tooling Manufacture
Our manufacturing capabilities allow us to produce high precision press and injection mould tooling for our own production facilities, and tools for external clients. With our equipment lest which include conventional and EDM CNC machining, we work primarily in soft materials such as aluminium for fast production and reduced costs, and also in a range of steels for smaller scale work.
Test Rig Design and Manufacture
Our design and manufacturing facilities allow us to devise and produce dedicated test rigs that are tailored to the specific needs of the customer’s project. We hold in stock a large range of industry standard sensors and data acquisition systems which when combined with bespoke rigs, allow validation of a prototype or final product design with empirical data, in accordance with the customer or regulatory requirements.
Product Testing
Our facility also encompasses our on-site, remotely monitored development test cells, allowing us to undertake a range of cyclic endurance, ingress and thermal testing procedures, along with a range of standardised Non Destructive Tests (NDT) and bespoke Destructive Testing rigs to objectively determine and meet required design functional limits.
Transit Testing
With the majority of instances of consumer product physical damage being the consequence of improper transit, we are able to provide services of transit analysis and test, in order to determine packaging and handing requirements and solutions. Our experience in this discipline has been built on our long term major brand partnerships, and has been proven in the harsh environment of the consumer product supply chain. Such insight and service can act to resolve potential issues before a product reaches market, and avoid costly revisions after commitments to high volume production.
